佚名, 1904年9月。老上海使用的一种死刑，其过程公开进行，以警示大众。受刑人被关在一个笼子里，脖子卡在上方。用脚尖顶着地可以帮助他缓解脖子承受的压力，呼吸一点空气。但最后，必因体力不支而窒息。
