Scientific
Games (Nasdaq: SGMS) announced it has been awarded a contract
as the primary vendor to supply instant tickets and related
services, including marketing, shipping, warehousing, game design,
inventory control, distribution and sales staff training, to the
Florida Lottery...............
Scientific Games
Corp., the biggest U.S. maker of instant lottery tickets, had US$60
million of sales in China two week ago, suggesting about US$3
billion in annual revenue in the country, Chief Executive Officer
Lorne Weil said.
'Things in China look great for us,'
Weil said Friday in a telephone interview. 'Right now, we're
selling in more than 50,000 retail locations.'
Demand in China will hold up after the
Summer Olympics as Scientific Games sells tickets at more stores,
said Weil, 62.
