“香港完了。对沖基金要跑去新加坡了!”
今天的英国FT 惊呼!这不算啥。1997年财富杂志的封面文章就是“香港之死”。
巴菲特的名言,“预测只说明了预测者,不能说明未来”。
我的领英文章如下:
Death of Hong Kong, again.
Since Fortune magazine’s infamous cover story in 1997, “The Death of Hong Kong”, many similar predictions have been made.
But “forecasts usually tell us more of the forecaster than of the future,' Warren Buffett said in 1977.
It is with that in mind I am reading an FT story today about the exodus of hedge funds from Hong Kong to Singapore. Link below.
Hong Kong-based hedge funds are considering uprooting their operations as China prepares to impose sweeping national security legislation on the Asian financial hub.
Fund managers and traders in the former British colony are expressing concerns that the industry could find itself in Beijing’s crosshairs, after the Chinese Communist party approved a plan to impose national security laws targeted at what it called “subversion of state power” or “interference” from foreign countries.
