1、Formulations include the following:
1)Pure Penalty (Default - Program Controlled):
2)Augmented Lagrange:
3)Normal Lagrange:
This formulation adds an extra degree of freedom
(contact pressure) to satisfy contact compatibility. Consequently,
instead of resolving contact force as contact stiffness and
penetration, contact force (contact pressure) is solved for
explicitly as an extra DOF.
4)MPC:
For the specific case of Bonded and No Separation
Types of contact between two faces, a Multi-Point constraint (MPC)
formulation is available. MPC internally adds constraint equations
to “tie” the displacements between contacting surfaces.
5)Beam:Beam Formulation is available for the Bonded
Type only. This formulation works by 'stitching' the contact
topologies together using massless linear Beam Elements.

3、Normal Lagrange Contact Formulation
This formulation adds an extra degree of freedom
(contact pressure) to satisfy contact compatibility. Consequently,
instead of resolving contact force as contact stiffness and
penetration, contact force (contact pressure) is solved for
explicitly as an extra DOF.
Does not require a normal
contact stiffness (zero elastic slip)
4、Multi-Point constraint (MPC) Contact Formulation
For the specific case of
Bonded and No Separation Types of contact between
two faces, a Multi-Point constraint (MPC) formulation is
available.
Large-deformation effects
are supported with MPC-based Bonded contact.

Chapter 12: Soil-Pile-Structure
Analysis
You can analyze the interaction of an
offshore structure supported on one or more piles, with
an elastic or
inelastic soil. The analysis can take into account the lateral
force displacement, and the end-bearing and skin-friction responses
of the soil layers occurring at the pile location. It is not
necessary for all piles in the analysis to be situated in identical
geological strata.
Customized macros
are used to model the soil-pile
interaction, with the soil data defined in
additional text
files. Piles are modeled using
PIPE288
and the surrounding
soil environment is modeled using
COMBIN39
elements.
The macros, along with accompanying documentation, can be found in
the Offshore extension in the ACT Extension library in the
downloads area on the Customer Portal:
https://support.ansys.com/AnsysCustomerPortal/en_us/Downloads/Extension+Library.
