Lesson23 What Do We Need for the Trip?
1、 教学分析
教材分析
本单元的题目是Jenny and Danny come to
China，在这个单元中，学生将进一步扩展与旅行相关的知识、语言和技能。Jenny和Danny来到了中国，对中国景点、节日和文化有了很多了解。本单元将对之前学过的词汇进行复习并学习新词汇，而本课的重点就是掌握一些旅行需要的物品以及对“喜欢与不喜欢某物，需要某物”的表达方法。 另外本课还加入了对语音的学习，突出自然拼读法。
学情分析
五年级学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、肢体动作特别感兴趣。学生学英语时，有可能说的不好，有的还不敢说，课堂上要以表扬为主，注重培养学习英语的兴趣，鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱！
课上我采取小组帮带策略，由好带差。Pair work or one by
one练习，学生学习英语的积极性很高。我也绝不落下任何一名学生。
二、教学目标
1. 能听懂、会说、认读并书写词汇：those ,that
2.学生能认读、理解并运用基本句型结构：I like this/ these …
I don’t like that/those…
3. 学生能了解字母组合ow 和oa 在单词中的发音及规律。
4.培养学生爱旅游的情感以及一些旅游的小常识。
三、重点难点
教学重点：进一步学习词汇：those ,that
教学难点：1. 学生能认读、理解并
运用基本句型：I like this/ these …
I don’t like that/those…
2. 能了解字母组合 ow 和 oa 在单词中的发音及规律。
四、教学准备：多媒体，PPT课件，衣服、照相机、食物卡片，火车票
五、教学过程
Step1 Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls. Are you ready for English class?
S:Yes.
T:OK.Let’s get ready .Please stand up and say “Nice to meet you!”
to your classmates.
S:Nice to meet you!
[设计意图：旨在创设宽松、和谐的英语环境，消除学生的紧张情绪，能够快速的把学生的注意力转移在英语课堂中来。这节课是每节课前都必须有的。]
Step2 Warming up
T:Question time: Do you love to travel? S:Yes.
T:Does Li Ming love to travel? S:Yes.
T:Does Danny love to travel? S:Yes.
T:Does Jenny love to travel? S:Yes.
T:Does Mrs. Li love to travel? S:Yes.
T:They all love to travel. Do you know where will they go?
S:They will go to Beijing.
T:Do you want to go to Beijing with them? S:Yes.
T:Please stand up and Let’s go.(假装要走的样子，一边走一边说) Wait! Wait! Wait!
Can we go like this?(做手上没有东西的动作) S：No.
T:So we need many things.(need means 需要)
[设计意图：通过question time
的快问快答，使学生精神高度紧张，既复习了之前的学习内容，也引出这节课的主题和所有的人物关系。为接下来的旅行所需东西的讨论做好铺垫，顺畅的进入到课文的学习中。]
Step3 Presentation
Part1 Let’s get ready!
1、Brainstorming
T:What do we need for the trip? Think about it.
S:行李箱，饮料，水果，食物，衣服，鞋……
[设计意图：通过头脑风暴，使学生能说出更多旅行所需物品，为下步进行句型教学做准备。]
2、New concepts and Practice
T:Show some pictures of train tickets and ask the students “Do we
need this one?
S:Yes.
T:So we need train tickets.
(老师领读，学生领读，同桌互读，用多种方式熟悉句子的读音。)
Then show some pictures of the things(some food, a camera, some
clothes)。Teach the other sentences: We need some food. We need a
camera. We need some clothes.
After teaching the sentences, work in groups and practice the four
sentences.
(每一行的学生一起说出问题：What do we need for the trip?然后这一行one by one 说出we/I
need ……句型。做到全班都能开口讲英语。)
T:Take out of your paper suitcase made yesterday. Please write the
four phrases of the blackboard in your paper suitcase.
[设计意图：通过小组合作使全班学生都能开口讲英语，这个环节能够使学生的听说读写四项基本技能都能涉及，提高学生英语的综合能力的提升。]
3、Listen and answer
Listen to the tape and and answer the four questions:
What do they need? What does Li Ming need?
[设计意图：带着问题听录音会提高学生的上课效率，锻炼了学生的听得能力，对part1内容有了更深入的理解。]
4、New words and new sentences.
Show some pictures of clothes.
T:I want to take all of the clothes. But I like this dress. This
dress is my favourite. I don’t like that T-shirt .I like these
trousers. I don’t like those shorts.
(教师领读that，并用不高兴的表情和向远处指的动作让学生明确that, those和I don’t
like……表达的意思)
Play a game(击鼓传花)
传递衣服图片，传到哪里，通过对这件衣服的好恶来练习
I like this/these……
I don’t like that/those……
[设计意图：通过游戏的方式，更能提高学生学习英语的兴趣，调动班上所有孩子的积极性。要求学生带着感情，带着实物来表达好恶。真正做到了“眼到、手到、口到、心到”]
Step4 Let’s chant!
同时教授near和far 的概念。一个学生站在老师的旁边，用手展示“近”，另一个在远处展示“远”。
Play the tape twice as everyone follows along.
Stand up and Let’s chant(边吟诵边动作)
[设计意图：边唱边动作使前半节课紧张的学习气氛顿时活跃了起来，课堂焕然一新。]
Part3 Let’s do it!
Look and write.
大屏幕显示数字学生快速抢答，巩固和检查对重难点句型的掌握情况。同桌订正并操练。
Step5 Letters and sounds.
利用字母组合ow/oa/o学习读出新单词。 Then pair work and one by one.利用I like
this/these……I don’t like that/those……句型，把这部分的单词加进去进行练习。
I like this “coat”/these “ow”
I don’t like that “elbow”/those “oa”
[设计意图：通过句子与单词的融合，既再次训练重难点语句，又对语音进行巩固。]
Finally enjoy some pictures about traveling of our students. Tell
the students “Traveling is wonderful, we should love to
travel”
[设计意图：情感升华。]
Step6 Homework
1、 听说写本课三组反义词，写出I like this/these……I don’t like
that/those……各三句话。
2、 把Let’s chant 表演给朋友或家人。

6、 课后反思
本节英语课教学以学生为主，教师指导为辅，以能力的培养为目标，效果良好。本节课的小游戏比较多，课堂气氛非常活跃，可以看见学生的注意力全部都集中在课堂中，孩子们的眼中也出现了对知识的渴望。不足就是课堂气氛太活跃导致纪律出现了小问题，显现出很多与课堂无关的话。教师还应要努力创设多种多样的方式和机会让学生通过自主、合作、探究等学习方式进行学习。
