这是名词短语，注意该短语的构成
2 the United Kingdom, 这里加the，类似的还有the united
states等。有些国家名加the，有些不加。要注意区别开。
3 between 1967 and 2007 是指这段时长。

“The graph shows the average CO2 each person emits in four
different countries:
the UK, Sweden, Italy and Portugal over a 40- year period beginning
in 1967.”
【第一段笔记】
1 the average CO2 each person emits替换average carbon dioxide
emissions per person. 留意这里加了the，each person
emits是定语从句。
2 留意这里冒号的使用：如果是三个及以上的国家，可以这样用：in three/four different
countries：
3 over a 40-year period beginning in
1967这个表达必须记住，用来表时间段。
【考官范文】第二段
“From the chart we can clearly see that Sweden and the UK
have had a general downward trend. In Sweden, however, between the
years 1967 and 1977 it did increase slightly from a little over 8
metric tonnes to over 10 metric tonnes. The Swedish decline was
considerably more than that of the UK and actually nearly halved
its output with the figure in 2007 showing a little under 6 metric
tonnes. ”
【第二段笔记】整个这一段没有提到二氧化碳人均排放量这个信息，因为这个信息是唯一的，在开头段已经说到。所以这里不提。若是一些考鸭去写，肯定会反复提及。其实，那样反而啰嗦了。
1 from the chart we can clearly see
that...是第一个中间段常用的句式之一。注意是一般现在时。这个句式建议直接记住。
2 Sweden and the UK have had a general downward trend.
当两个数据对象的趋势相似或相同时，记得放一块去说。注意这里考官没有使用both Sweden and the
UK，不使用both！另外，a general downward
trend中，是general，形容词，而不是副词generally。
3 In Sweden, however, between the years 1967 and 1977
这里的in、between两个介词短语，和副词however都是状语。状语连用，还有定语连用，考官范文中比较常见，有志于7分的考生，这一类的用法要特别上心！另外，记住：在写英语句子时，句子成分连用，而不是多个句子连用，往往会使得表达更简洁。句子的高级用法，不是一堆复合句或所谓的长难句，这本身就违反书面表达或口头表达的初衷：表达！好的表达不是让人听不懂，看不懂，而是清清楚楚，明明白白！！
4 it did
increase这里的did加的很到位。从这里我们可以感受到考官是如何处理句意关系的。这里之所以要加did，是因为上句表述的信息说到：Sweden
had a general downward trend.
整体是下降趋势，所以这里的increase加了个did，以示和整体趋势的不同。即总说整体趋势后，如果有一段比较明显的不同，则特别指出。
5 the Swedish decline was considerably more than that of the
UK这部分，Swedish decline而不是the decline in/of
Sweden，这个处理很好，必须学会。另外，不是more than the UK，而是more than that of the
UK. 比较在数据图中是必须掌握的用法，用比较级表比较时，若用到more than，其后是否加that来指代more
than前的某信息，必须写对，否则就语意不通，失分就跑不了了。
6 half/double等表倍数关系的用词，很多都是既可以做形容词，也可以做动词。必须掌握。
7 actually nearly halved its output with the figure in 2007
showing a little under 6 metric
tonnes。介词with构成的独立主格结构，在大小作文中都是那种大神级别的用法，必须学会。
