3、通过本课学习,学生能与他人交流自己锻炼的方式,锻炼频率频率及锻炼时间。
4. 通过本课学习,学生能增强体育锻炼意识。

1、重点:掌握本课四会单词: minutes, hours,
exercise 学生能认读理解并运用How many minutes do you
…?
2、难点:通过本课学习,学生能与他人交流自己锻炼的方式,锻炼频率频率及锻炼时间。

教具:录音机、课文录音带、课件。

五.教学过程:
Step 1 、Class Opening and Review
1. Greeting :“Hello!Nice to
see you ! How’s the weather today ? Are you ready for English class
?
2 Free talk: Did you have breakfast this morning ? How
often do you have breakfast ? Do you like to eat fruit ? How
often do you eat fruit ? How often do you eat vegetables ?
3. Play a game. I do ,you say. What is he doing
?(找一位学生到前面来表演词组,学生猜这个学生在做什么)
[设计意图]通过师生闲聊和游戏,将学生带入英语课堂,并为本节课后面的学习做知识铺垫。
Step2 、 New Concepts
导入:出示课题。然后让学生猜一猜,今天会学到什么?或者说关于exercise你想知道什么?引导学生提问:What
is exercise? Why do we exercise? How much exercise do
we need everyday ?
1. What is exercise?
通过观看图片,教师通过示范,引导学生回答What is exercise?…ing
is exercise.然后学生进行句型操练:What is exercise?……
ing is exercise.
[设计意图]设计一系列的活动,目的就是为了让学生清楚地认识什么是锻炼,并能用英语正确的表达。此部分不拘限于课本所罗列的四个动作,将以前学过的动词短语展现在学生眼前,新旧知识结合到一起,巩固新知复习旧知。
2. Why do we exercise ?
听第一部分录音并跟读,回答问题:Why do we exercise
?然后学生齐读课文。
调查:Do you exercise ? How do you exercise ? How
often do you exercise ? (拿出调查表,回答问题) I play
ping-pong twice a week.
3.How much exercise do we need everyday
?
How much exercise do we need everyday ? Mr. Wood will
tell us. Let’s read Part 2. Then answer : How many minutes does he
exercise ? “minutes”? What’s meaning ?
教师用钟表演示minute and hour 。然后听录音,回答问题。How
many minutes does he exercise ?然后教师提问: Exercise five
minutes a day. Can Danny be healthy ? How much exercise
does Danny need everyday ? What about us ? We also need about an
hour of exercise a day.
Step3、Practice

教师指导学生填表。

1.Summary 根据板书,引导学生总结本课所学。
