一、 设计思路
《英语课程标准》强调语言学习的实践性,主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。它强调英语教学应关注学生的学习兴趣,倡导在真实情境中通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径,让学生发现语言规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能,形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力。本课以提高学生的综合素质为目的,以学生发展为本,面向全体学生。在探索新知时,真正体现了学生的主体地位;培养和激发了学生学习英语的兴趣和自信心。充分利用多媒体进行多样化的操练,注重语言信息的输出,让学生在玩中学,学了用,体验到用英语做事的乐趣。
二、教材分析
本课是闽教版五年级上册Unit 4 Weekend Activities Part
A,主要围绕周末活动展开话题,引导学生用所学语言描述周末的活动,能用Can
we…?来询问,用Yes.Let's
go.来回答。本课内容贴近学生生活,容易引起学生兴趣。教材围绕周末活动呈现了Sally一家周末活动的安排情况,引出本课的重点,做到了情境教学。然后在情境中安排一系列
任务活动,体现了任务型教学理念。
三、学情分析
五年级的学生经过两年多的英语学习,大多数学生形成了一定的综合语言运用能力。能听懂会说简单的句型,能根据指令做动作,开展活动。他们已学习了play
basketball, play football, go to the zoo, run, ride a
bike等词组,已经掌握了句型 I
can…和I
can’t….并能用Can
you…?的句型来询问他人,也会做Yes,
I can. / No, I
can’t的回答。学生们对英语有较强的兴趣,但也有部分学生由于种种原因,学习有所落后,自信心不强。
四、教学目标
1、语言知识与语言技能目标
(1)、能听懂、会认读、会说单词cinema,glasses,film,afraid,短语sit
down, put
on等。
(2)、能听懂、会认读、会说句型:Can
we…? Yes.
Let's
go.
(3)、能用所学语言描述周末活动。
2、学习策略目标
通过Pair Work,Group
Work等活动形式,引导学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
3、情感态度目标
(1)、通过谈论周末活动,培养学生良好的人际交往与合作的能力。
(2)、通过运用Don't
be afraid,培养学生关心他人、安慰他人的意识。
五、教学重点:
1、能听懂、会认读、会说单词cinema,
glasses,

afraid。

六、教学难点:
能用所学语言描述周末活动。
七、教具准备
1、单词和词组卡片。
2、表格、一副眼镜。

Step 1、Warming up
1、Free Talk
T:Good afternoon, kids.
What day is today?
What'your favorite
day?
2、Revision
and lead in
(1)、T:Wow, so many
kids like Saturday and Sunday.
Why?
T:Yes. They are weekend. (教学weekend)I
often go to the park at weekends. What do you often do at
weekends?
(2)、Review the phrases:
go boating, play
football, go to the zoo, play in the
park, have
sports...
(3)、Present the title:Unit 4 Weekend

设计意图:通过设计一个简单的Free Talk,复习了表示一周七天的单词;又通过提出What do you often do at
weekend?引导学生发散思维,激活学生已有的知识,将学生学习英语的需求内化,有效地复习了词组,引入了新课,创设了一个轻松和谐的教学氛围。
Step 2、Presentation
1、Watch the CD-ROM
first.
(1) Show the questions: What
day is it today?
Where does Sally want to
go today?
(2)Play the CD- ROM, Ss listen and
find out the answers.
(3) Check the answers, present and learn the
word: cinema , and the sentence:
Can we go to the cinema?
替换练习:Can
we go

football/go to the zoo/play in the
park/have
sports?
2、Watch
the CD- ROM again.

a film.

引导学生读出afraid的感觉。
Lead in:Don't
be afraid. And learn.

PPT呈现图片,练习Don't
be afraid.进行关心他人,帮助他人,安慰他人的情感渗透。
3、Ss read the text by
themselves, and underline the sentence they don't
understand.
Learn the
phrase Sit down by
TPR.
4、Listen and imitate.
设计意图:让孩子们带着任务看视频,有利于集中他们的精神;通过一个个问题的提出、解决,抽丝剥茧,层层递进,突出了重点,突破了难点,同时进行了情感的渗透。
Step 3、Practice
1、 Play in
Roles。
2、Chant: Can
we go to the
cinema?
设计意图:Chant 、Read in
Roles这些活动,充分利用了学生好动、爱模仿的特点,激发学生的学习积极性,调动学生的表现欲,让学生体会到用英语做事的乐趣。
Step 4、Extension:
Fill in the blanks: My Weekend Activities.
(1) 、Show the table about
teacher's weekend activities.
(2) 、Ss talk in their
groups,and fill in their tables.
(3)、Ss show their tables.
设计意图:通过PPT呈现各种场景,让学生自主选择场景自编对话,自由地进行交流,使更多的学生锻炼了他们的口语交际能力,为学生提供了自主学习的相互交流的机会,培养了学生综合语言运用能力。
Step 5、Summary:
T:What have you learned today?
设计意图:引导学生回顾学习过程,进一步进行了语言的输出;同时引导学生懂得关心他人,安慰他人。

自选(可全选):1、Listen and read the text skillfully.

设计意图:布置了听、读、写的作业,巩固了孩子们的语言知识和技能。同时自选的作业让学生根据兴趣、学习程度选择,既照顾了学习程度差的学生,又满足了学习程度高的学生,实现了面向全体学生。
