本课选自陕旅版小学英语六年级下册第一单元第三课时。本单元的话题以日常活动展开,理解并会用一些频度副词表达各自的日常活动,并能在日常生活中运用所学的词汇和句型自由交谈。第三课时以Part
B中的Let’s learn more部分为主,拓展学习如何运用频度副词描述日常活动。

Step 1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song.
设计意图:以一首轻松有趣的歌曲活跃气氛,淡化孩子的紧张感,营造良好的英语学习氛围,并根据歌曲内容跟学生进行讨论,引出本节课话题。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show them a clock, and then tell them the usage of “half
past” and “past”.
2. During the part, ask them some questions to teach the
sentence structures.
T: What do you do at half past seven/twenty past
ten?
S: I usually/always…
设计意图:利用PPT呈现钟表,学习运用“half past”和 “past”
表达时间,直观清晰,并通过问答,让学生在学会时间表达的基础上,学习用 “usually”,
“always”等频度副词描述日常活动。
3. Introduce a cartoon character Mary to the
students.
1) Let the students describe Mary with any sentences they
like.
2) Let them make up sentences with the tips.
3) Read a small passage about Mary.
设计意图:借助卡通人物提高学生的学习兴趣,并通过自由描述和造句两种形式激发学生的表达欲望,进一步练习用频度副词描述他人的日常活动。

false practice after listening the text for the first
time.
