教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级下册教材第5单元，话题为家庭生活。本课是本单元第一课，重点是谈论童年回忆，为后面的听力和写作做铺垫。
本课的内容是一封女儿给妈妈的信件，教学设计分为两课时。第一课时侧重文章的理解，首先通过头脑风暴激活学生已有的知识：谈论你难以忘怀的事件。随后通过阅读，获取女儿写信的原因；以及女儿对母亲儿时的回忆：母亲和她一起做过什么；母亲对她说过什么。最后结合自己的实际并结合本课的信息进行语言输出活动：谈论自己的母亲对自己影响，以及对母亲的回忆，并表达自己的态度。另外本课中还会渗透间接引语的相关知识，使学生对间接引语有初步的了解。

己最有影响的人物的有关回忆，并表达自己的想法；
