一、教学目标
1、学生能够正确理解、掌握故事内容,并能朗读、复述故事。
2、学生能听得懂、会说、会读词汇 dream, future, take care of, care aboutastronaut, spaceship, football player, World Cup, come true, dancer, pianist以及句型和日常交际用语What do you want to be in the future?及其回答 I want to be…
3、学生能够以“My dream”为话题,活用本故事谈论自己的梦想。
4、引导学生树立正确的价值观,树立心怀梦想并为实现梦想努力奋斗的信心。
、教学重点

2、学生能够以“My dream”为话题,活用本故事谈论自己的梦想。
三、教学难点
单词astronaut, pianist的发音。
四、教学准备
多媒体课件、课题、词汇卡片、 作业纸若干

五、教学过程
Step1: Enjoy a song about dream before class
Step2: Brain storm
30 seconds Non-stop talking: 学生在30秒之内说一说自己所知道的关于职业类的单词
Step3: Watch a video
T: Good job! You know a lot of words about jobs. Now let’s watch a video, I think in this
video, you can also hear the words about jobs.
学生观看关于动画人物Baymax的短片(1分钟),之后回答问题:
T: What does Baymax want to be in the future?
Ss: He wants to be a doctor.
T: What doesfuturemean? A. 2008 B. 2016 C. 2020 Which one do you choose?
Ss: 2020. It means “将来”.
Step4: Let’s talk
1. Present the title
T: Bay max wants to be a doctor in the future, this is his dream. Today our topic is Our dreams. 教师板书课题,并领读。
2. Guess: What was Miss Luo’s dream?
T: Baymax has a dream, and so do I. When I was as young as you, I had a dream. What was it? Can you guess? 学生猜测老师小时候的梦想是什么。
2. Listen to a rhyme and talk about it
学生在猜测的基础上,进一步欣赏老师自编的一首关于自己小时候梦想的歌谣。
T: When I was child, I wanted to be a teacher. Now my dream has come true. I have a new dream, I want to be an excellent teacher in the future. I think I’ll be happy with you, with Miss Li and her students every day. In this class, we are also going to talk about their dreams. 在交流以上句子过程中,学习词组come true
Step5: Learn the story
1. Watch the cartoon and matchWhat do they want to be in the future?
学生观看动画,完成书P80题目,师生一起核对答案,在此过程中学习生词a football player, a dancer, an astronaut, a pianist,特别细听astronaut, pianist两个单词的发音,并了解学生知道哪些著名的足球明星、舞蹈家、宇航员、钢琴家的名字等。
2. Try to say
学生说一说书中孩子们的梦想,运用句子: …wants to be a/an…
T: Why do the children have these dreams? Let’s try to find the answers in the book.
3. Read and fill in the form
自读课文P78,找出男生们拥有这些梦想的原因,完成表格。体验小贴士: 在阅读过程中,可以用“——”划出相关句子,以便迅速找到答案。

听录音,了解女生们拥有梦想的原因, 并判断下列句子正(T)(F)
Su Hai wants to be a dancer because she thinks dancing can make people healthy and beautiful.
Su Yang wants to write stories for children.
Yang Ling likes playing the piano, so she wants to be a pianist.
师生一起核对答案。
6. Read P28 after the tape.
7. Let’s talk: What’s Miss Li’s dreams?
Miss Li: I want to see your dreams come true!
T: What do you think of Miss Li? Does she love/care about her students? Do you think so?...

The students read the story in different ways.
Step5: Consolidation
1. Retell the story
假如你是Mike,你能向大家说说你、你的朋友或老师的梦想吗?你可以选取其中一两个人物和大家交流。下面句型可以帮助你:
Hello, I’m Mike. I have a … dream. I want to be a/an… in the future. I want to…
My friend … wants to be a/an… He/She wants to…
Miss Li is our teacher. She has a dream, too. She wants to…
I hope our dreams will come true.
2. Guessing game
T: I think you know the story well. You know what are children’s dreams and why they have these dreams. 指着板书总结 I also want to know your dreams. First, let’s play a guessing game. 教师示范班上三个学生描述自己梦想的文字,学生猜测他们的梦想,并猜猜他们是谁。
I like dancing. I’m good at it. I often have dancing lessons at weekends. I think dancing makes people healthy and beautiful. Yang Liping is my idol(偶像).
I have a dream. It’s not big but nice. I want to write novels (小说) in the future. Mo Yan is my idol.
I like drawing different things. I want to draw beautiful pictures in the future. What’s my dream, can you guess?
3. Dream show
说说自己的梦想,并与大家分享交流。
My dream
I have a …dream. I want to be a/an…in the future. I want to… I hope my dream will come true.
4. Let’s talk
T: Now I know your dreams, I hope your dreams will come true. Whose dreams did we talk about in this class? Did you remember? 教师引导学生回忆这节课都谈及到了哪些人的梦想,也可以说今天在座的各位听课老师也有自己的梦想(互动)。Everyone has dreams, we all hope our dreams will come true, but how? What will we do to make our dreams come true? 学生发表自己的观点

5. Say a rhyme:
学生随着背景音乐一起说关于梦想的儿歌:

They make you happy.
Step5: Homework
1. Listen to the tape of the story three times and read loudly.
2. Make a dream card and write down your dreams, you can design it into different shapes.
