这张双CD专辑收录了格鲁米欧三重奏演奏的莫扎特《弦乐三重奏》（其中K266由圣马丁室内乐团成员演奏），格鲁米欧与中提琴家佩里西亚合作演奏《弦乐二重奏》。专辑的演奏、录音具佳，《企鹅唱片指南》评价三星。


莫扎特创作的弦乐三重奏包括：1、《为弦乐三重奏而作的奏鸣曲》降B大调，K266，作于1777年。2、为弦乐三重奏而作的《6首前奏曲与赋格》（第一号D小调，第二号G小调，第三号F大调，第四号F大调，第五号降E大调，第六号F小调），K404a，作于1782年。3、为弦乐三重奏而作的《降E大调嬉游曲》，K563，作于1788年。而弦乐二重奏包括：1、《G大调二重奏》，K423，作于1783年。2、《降B大调二重奏》，K424，作于1783年。
