弗拉迪米尔·沙法诺夫的演奏风格弹性而多元，无论是节奏或旋律，他都带着一种强劲、阳刚，而又与哈利·艾伦演奏的次中音萨克斯一刚一柔、配合完美。专辑录音中钢琴声音浑圆清晰、萨克斯柔和圆润、贝斯声饱满浑厚、鼓声弹性十足，中高频衔接得好，也能听出相当浓郁的声底。
