Because of lacking the environment of English learning, grammar is a long-standing problem for students in learning English. On one hand, students don’t have strong interest in grammar, on the other hand, teachers don’t have proper methods to motivate students enthusiasm.
Firstly, as the saying goes “ interesting is the best teacher.” Therefore, teachers should set interesting activities to attract students’ attention. For example, in teaching attributive clause, we can use a “guessing game” to warm up, teacher can make a riddle to describe something in our classroom by using attributive clause and ask students to guess. In addition, teachers can teach with the help of pictures, video, ppt and so on. In this way, students’ attention can be attracted.
