“鹳雀楼”，有人译成the
Heron Tower，有人译成the Stork
Tower。按上海译文出版社《新英汉词典》，heron表示“苍鹭”stork表示“鹳”。但原文是“鹳雀”，除了“鹳”，还有“雀”。不知如何翻译才好？再如“白日”，乍看颇费解。英译更有讲究。
