The dawn of the train station


长街黑暗无行人


the dark street with no sign of pedestrian


卖豆浆的小店冒着热气


and the steam fromthe soy-milk stall


从前的日色变得慢


The nighfalls used to come late in the past


车，马，邮件都慢


Everything was slow, the bike, the horse, aand the post


一生只够爱一个人


a lifetime was all but enough to be in love with one


从前的锁也好看


The old-school lock was beautiful


钥匙精美有样子


and the key exquisite looking


你锁了 人家就懂了


once locked, the others understood

木心（1927年2月14日—2011年12月21日），本名孙璞，字仰中，号牧心，笔名木心。中国当代作家、画家。1927年出生于浙江省嘉兴市桐乡乌镇东栅。毕业于上海美术专科学校。2011年12月21日3时逝世于故乡乌镇，享年84岁。著有散文集《琼美卡随想录》《散文一集》等；诗集《西班牙三棵树》《巴珑》等；小说集《温莎墓园日记》等画集《木心画集》等；口述作品《文学回忆录》等。
