我生在重庆，从小就热爱文学，美术，从小学至初中，课本上都是我涂抹的痕迹，那时的梦想就是长大做个文学家或画家。可惜命运弄人，由于历史原因，我十五岁读完初二便被迫缀学，从此无缘文学艺术梦想。就业后做了40年会计，退休后又为两个女儿把孙子带大。七十岁才有了自由的空间和时间。
I was born in Qongqing, and I have loved literature and art since I was a child. I drew and painted on my textbooks at my school time from elementary to middle school when I dreamed to be a writer or an artist. Unfortunately, due to historical reasons, I was forced to drop out at the age of 15 after finishing the second year of middle school. Since then, I have missed my dream of literature and art. I had been working as an accountant for 40 years after education, and then helped my two daughters with bringing up their sons after retirement . It was not until at the age of 70 that I had my free space and time.
记得摩西奶奶有一句话“真的想做一些事，任何时候都不晚”。是的，我很庆幸自己在七十岁重新找回了自己喜欢的事情，又幸运的遇到了艺术博士张华洁老师，进入他创立的新绘画新思维网络高研班，正式学习绘画。五年的时间里，我学会了调色、构图，提高了艺术修养，也不断探索自己的绘画方向。如果我的绘画作品能以趣味的形式和内涵让人在精神上产生愉悦，那便是我欣喜的收获!
As the saying from Grandma Moses goes 'It's never too late to start anything you like', I am very glad that I managed to return to my hobby at the age of 70, and was lucky enough to meet Huajie Zhang, a Doctor of Art, to enter New Painting New Thinking ( an advanced art training class online) founded by him, and from then on I formally started learning painting. In the past 5 years, I have learned color-mixing and compositions, improved my artistic accomplishment, and constantly explored my own painting direction. If my paintings could make people mentally happy with their interesting forms and connotations, that would be my refreshing harvest!
我非常珍惜晚年时光，可以在绘画和艺术实践中快乐地度过每一天，所以我的作品是欢乐的，俏皮的，还有些象征性和怀旧的情绪。我画心中所思所想，画里有我对生活的意趣，也有我对余生的希望。
I cherish my later years very much, and spend every day happily in painting and artistic practice, so my works are joyful, playful, symbolic and nostalgic. What I paint shows my thoughts in mind, interest in life and my hope for the rest of life.
