A Song to the Knight from State Zhao

赵客缦胡缨，Casually crown-tasseled the
knight.
吴钩霜雪明。His magic sword Hook is snow
white.
银鞍照白马，Silver-saddle-matched the
white steed,
飒沓如流星。It runs at a shooting-star
speed.
十步杀一人，Within ten steps he slays a
man.
千里不留行。Thousand-mile-long passes can’t him
ban.
事了拂衣去，Once done, he would turn on
his heel,
深藏身与名。And both feats and fame he would
seal.
闲过信陵饮，When free,
he
comes to Xinling shire,
脱剑膝前横。To his breast the sward will
retire.
将炙啖朱亥，With Zhuhai he enjoys meat
fine.
持觞劝侯嬴。With Houying he revels in
wine.
三杯吐然诺，After three drinks he gives a
pledge,
五岳倒为轻。and keeps it on life-and-death
edge.
眼花耳热后，Though drunk with blurred
sight and ears red.
意气素霓生。Stuffed with guts and zeal is his
head.
救赵挥金槌，ZHU killed the chief and stole
the seal.
邯郸先震惊。With HOU he saved ZHAO with
appeal.
千秋二壮士，In city Liang they made a
stir.
烜赫大梁城。Henceforth became warriors
ever.
纵死侠骨香，of the great name they are
worthy.
不惭世上英。Lives beyond death the
chivalry.
谁能书阁下，None can follow Yangxiong, a
sage,
白首太玄经。Who kept writing Xuan till old
age.

吴钩:
吴钩双剑是神话小说《封神演义》中普贤真人和木吒所使用的兵刃，是镇洞之宝，含灵性，可投掷杀敌，且十分锋利，和飞剑相似，能祭在空中斩人头颅。

扬雄:
撰有《太玄经》，也称《扬子太玄经》，简称《太玄》、《玄经》。将源于老子之道的玄作为最高范畴，并在构筑宇宙生成图式、探索事物发展规律时以玄为中心思想。
