前天在双语养育QQ群上,有群友问:一位中文不怎么好的意大利同事跟下属谈话时,下属说她“站着说话不腰疼”,她不明白是什么意思。请问如何用英文向她解释?

my shoes。这个解释比较贴切。
看育儿书时,常常看到 Put yourself into your kid's
shoes,就是提示我们设身处地、换位思考,从别人的角度看问题。因此,想说别人“站着说话不腰疼”,可以这样说:If you
were standing in my shoes, you wouldn't say that / do that.
或者说:If you put yourself into my shoes, you would know what I meant
/ how I felt.
