前天在双语养育QQ群上，有群友问：一位中文不怎么好的意大利同事跟下属谈话时，下属说她“站着说话不腰疼”，她不明白是什么意思。请问如何用英文向她解释？

my shoes。这个解释比较贴切。
看育儿书时，常常看到 Put yourself into your kid's
shoes，就是提示我们设身处地、换位思考，从别人的角度看问题。因此，想说别人“站着说话不腰疼”，可以这样说：If you
were standing in my shoes, you wouldn't say that / do that.
或者说：If you put yourself into my shoes, you would know what I meant
/ how I felt.
