Kennedy School Graduates to Receive Diplomas
During Ceremony June 8

CAMBRIDGE, MA. – Current and futu
re leaders in public service – from the U.S. and across the globe –
will receive their diplomas during commencement ceremonies June 8
at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. The Kennedy School’s
Class of 2006 is comprised of approximately 522 students,
representing 76 countries.
Graduate degrees include Master in Public Administration (MPA); Master in Public Policy (MPP); Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPAID); Master in Public Policy & Urban Planning (MPPUP); and Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government and Ph.D. in Public Policy (conferred by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences).
Among this year’s graduating Class are many current and former government leaders, policy analysts, non-profit founders, military officers, and public policy advocates. Graduates include a former Minister of Environment of Iraq; a former Supreme Court justice of Rwanda; a U.S. Navy nuclear surface warfare officer; a former regional director for Habitat for Humanity; a Foreign Service officer with the U.S. Department of State; a Massachusetts State Representative; and a former mayor of Taylorville, Illinois.
