歌剧魅影（The
Phantom of the
Opera）是一部安德鲁·劳埃德•韦伯（Andrew Lloyd
Webber）作曲的百老汇音乐剧。 1986年首演，于1988年获得七项托尼奖，是史上最成功的音乐剧之一。1986年伦敦的首演由麦克尔·克劳福德和莎拉·布莱曼担任男女主角。
音乐剧中的克利斯丁（女主人公）第一次真正的踏上自己的舞台，崭露头角
的时候唱的那首就是《
think of
me》。音乐剧里第一幕，正当巴黎歌剧院首席女高音
Carlotta为两位新老板献上一首当晚准备演出的
Think of Me时，突然从舞
台天幕上掉下来的一块
布景引起了骚乱，大家纷纷猜测这是
歌剧院的幽灵(Phantom of the
Opera)干的。
Carlotta耍起小脾气不肯继续排练，并且离场声称不再参
加歌剧院的演出。正在焦急的时候，舞台监督
Giry太太的女儿提出让伴舞的
Christine试试看，并得到认可。结果，在排练场和当晚的演出中，
Christine的歌喉征服了所有的人，包括当晚到场观看演出的年轻的贵族
Raoul，他也是歌剧院的资助人，也是
Christine的童年玩伴。
