《go shopping》教学设计案例

一、教学内容:
本课内容选自新标准英语教材五年级上册Unit 1,这个单元主要让学生初步了解在购物时如何用英语询问物品的多少和价格,重点运用How many/ much … do you want ?以及不同的回答。 用Do you like something ?来询问某人的喜好。
二、学情分析:
五年级学生英语经过两年的英语学习,大多数学生有了一定的英语基础。五年级的小学生生理及心理特点为活泼好动、思维活跃;善于动脑、动手,在学习过程中,乐于与人合作,并发现问题,提出问题。教师应该巧妙挖掘身边资源并合理运用PPT课件为孩子们营造语言交流的场景,营造真实的情景让孩子们应用所学到的语言与同伴交流和玩耍,让他们从中感受成功的喜悦和学习英语的乐趣。
三、教学目标:
认知目标:单词:cheese kilo list 。句型:How many do you want ?
How much cheese do you want ?
能力目标:使学生学会如何询问数量,如何购物。
教学重点:能口头运用How many/much … do you want ? 能够询问他人所需物品的数量,并能用数字和量词kilo, box, bottle等作回答。
教学难点:在情景中区分运用How many/much… do you want?

教学准备:课件,录音机,单词卡片,用于奖励的小贴画若干以及教具。
学习策略:引导和启发学生在各种情境当中感受语言的交际功能,并让他们通过多种游戏和活动,逐步熟练运用所学到的语言,培养和引导学生与同伴互助合作,共同探究学习道路上的困惑,分享成功的喜悦。
情感态度:
(1)帮助学生树立学习英语的自信心,培养他们在日常生活中敢说、乐说英
的积极性

(2)培养学生学习英语的兴趣以及在实际情景中运用知识的能力,提高他们
的交际能力。
四、教学过程
(一)Greetings(每日口语交际)
1、T: Class begins.Good morning, boys and girls!
S: Good morning,Miss ××.
T: My name is Lily, what is your name ?
S: My name is …
T: Nice to meet you!
S: Nice to meet you , too!
设计意图:每日口语交流是英语课堂上必不可少的部分,长期坚持这样做,并且做到每隔一段时间就增加一到两个新句子,可以让学生在不知不觉中习得新语言,既积累了知识,又培养了学生善于、乐于与人交流的良好习惯和品质。
(二)Lead in :
T: Children, do you like shopping ?
Ss: Yes , I do .(提问两个同学,并给予卡片奖励。)
T: Good ! Where do you go shopping ?(可以给予提升,in the school?/in the park.)
S1: In the supermarket.(给予奖励。)
T: Ok. We can go shopping in the supermarket. Today, we will talk about shopping .(板书shopping.)Good, remember, no Chinese in this class. If you do well, you will get this kind of money more and more for your group.But, if you speak Chinese, I will take money from your group.Understand ?
Ss: Yes.
设计意图:课前讲解本节课的学习内容以及活动主题,让学生有意识的在课堂中多说英语, 通过获得钱币的形式激发学生的学习兴趣。
(三)Warmer:
T: Now, let’s listen to a song about shopping.(播放录音,听歌曲第一遍。)
Ss: How many apples? .. ..
T: Ok! Can you tell me, what did you hear in this song?
S2:Apples,pears,.. .. S3: Juice,milk,.. ..
S4:How many .. ..? How much .. ..?(启发学生回答并及时给予奖励。)
T: Very good ! Now,let’sing together.(放伴奏,跟唱一遍。) Ss: .. ..
T: Great! You can sing well.
设计意图:在欢快的旋律中,同学们既提前感知了要学习的内容,又在互动中获得了身心的愉悦感,使课堂有了一个良好的开端。
(四)Revision:
(1) T: Ok! We are ready. Let’s go shopping. Look!(PPT 2) How many apples ?
S5: 3 apples.
T:Good!(给奖励)And who can ask some questions with “How many..?”
S6:How many bananas? T: 2 bananas.(给奖励)
S7: How many ..?(给奖励) T: Who can answer ? S8: .. .. (给奖励)
T: Very well! You can use “How many ..”
(2) T: Look,(PPT3) How much water ? Ss:4 bottles.(生表达有误,师纠正)
T: Very good!(给奖励) And who can ask some questions with “How much..?”
S9:How much juice ? T:Who can answer? S10:3 bottles. (给奖励)
T: Great. You can use “How much .. ..?”
设计意图:本环节的设计目的是为了让学生的思维活跃起来,轻松愉悦的完成对句子How many/much…?的复习,从另一个侧面来说,因为这个句子又是本次课的一个教学重点,因此也起到了自然巧妙地呈现新课的作用。
(五) Presentation:
(1) T:Ok. We can find out so much food in a supermarket. I want to go shopping. First, I should make a shopping list ..(板书,简笔画) Read after me ,shopping list. Ss: Shopping list
T: First, I want apples.(板书) I like apples. What’s next ? Yes, bananas, I like bananas too . Next, I want much juice.(板书) Then I want much milk.Ok! Look at my shopping list.Let’s read it. Ss:Apples,bananas,juice,milk.
T:Good! Let’s go shopping with this list.(PPT4)
设计意图:呈现本课的任务让学生明白本课内容的用处,用情景联系呈现新知识。
(2)T:But now,I need someone to help me.Who can help me ? S11:I can.
T:Thank you .Now let’s go shopping. The supermarket is there.Let’s go!(来到模拟小超市) I will read the list. Can you bring things for me ?
S11: OK! T: The first thing is apples. Can you bring me apples?
S11:Yes! Here you are .(学生拿过苹果)
T:Oh, sorry.I need more./ There are too many.(根据学生拿来的苹果数量回应,启发学生用上How many apples do you want ?)
S11: How many apples do you want ?
T: Great!(板书How many .. do you want ?) I want 3 apples. The next thing is bananas.
S11:How many bananas do you want ?
T: I want 4 bananas. Next is juice.
S11:How much juice do you want ? (板书How much juice do you want ?)
T:2 bottles,please. Then I want milk.
S11: How much milk do you want? T: 3 boxes,please. Thank you very much. You did a really good job!(给予奖励)
设计意图:英语新课标指导我们要让学生在真实的情境中获取语言信息,给学生们做示范,明白如何进行对话联系,以及知识的具体运用。
(3) T:OK. We can go shopping with this shopping list.Now I’ve another shopping list.But I have no time to shopping.Who can help me ?(出示事先准备好的list,找两名学生前来表演超市购物。)
T: Good job! (师给予奖励)
设计意图:让学生亲自体验,综合运用新知识。应为How many/much…?是本次课的一个教学重点,让学生在情景中加以练习,巩固新知识。
(六)课文呈现
让学生打开书,学生指句子跟录音读;
T: Now, boys and girls, please listen to the text, and follow it.
设计意图:让学生去模仿录音中的发音以及语音语调的变化。
(七) Practise.
T: OK ! Shopping will be convient with a list.Now ,can you make a list and go shopping? Look at the screeen.(PPT5) There are some topics for shopping.You can choose one and make a shopping list,then go shopping in the supermarket.And you can also use your own topic for shopping with your partners in your groups.It will be great! Before we start,remember,no Chinese,otherwise, I will take away your money.(学生开始讨论,制作购物单,师进行辅导并监督学生。)
完成购物单后,带领学生去超市,实践超市购物,剪辑购物对话镜头。
(七)Summary
(从超市完成购物,重新回到课堂。)
T:OK! Now ,please show us your dialogue about your shopping,OK?(找两组学生进行表演,让学生进行评价)
T:Wonderful! You did a really good jub! Clap for them.Now ,can you say something about today’s project?
S12:Before doing something,we can make a plan. It’s easier and convient.
T:Very good!
S13: It was an interesting project! We can save money in shopping.
T:Yes! That’s really nice that you can make a shopping list,and go shopping.I’m sure you can help your parents to go shopping now.So today’s homework(PPT6):Make a shopping list in your family,and go shopping with your parents in the supermarket at this weekend.OK?

七、教学反思:
本课的设计是很自然,有趣生动的。并且课堂活动都是以学生为主体,其中有个人、两人、小组,有教师指导性的也有需要学生独立合作完成的,并把学习的有关知识安排到一定的语境和情景中去,突出培养了学生用英语做事情和用英语进行交流的能力,体现了交际语言教学的思想。但是课堂上,有很多不尽如人意的地方,环节衔接不够流畅,课文学习中让学生听读的较少,而且形式比较单一,在以后的课堂当中应当加强自身的基本功练习,这样才能使自己在课堂上游刃有余。
