一座山村、一个女人、一生的守候。
主人公秀兰与青梅竹马的建设相恋，并许下结婚誓言。就在此时，前线征兵，为了保卫家园、建设毅然应征入伍，两人从此相隔千里。
分别使他们的爱情更加坚定、纯粹。 不幸，建设在一次执行任务中失踪，秀兰坚信建设没有死，一直守在山村痴痴等待……
Synopsis：
One villiage, one woman,
one lifetime of waiting.
The protagonist Xiulan and her childhood sweetheart Jianshe fall in
love with each other and make wedding vows. At the time,
however, the army is recruiting soldiers to the frontline. In order
to defend their homeland, Jianshe resolutely answers
the call and joins the army. Since then the two
lovers are separated thousands of miles away, with one waiting in
the village, the other fighting on the frontline. The
parting makes their loveeven firmer and purer.
Unfortunately, a heartbreaking message comes back from the
frontline that Jianshe is missing in action. Nevertheless, Xiulan
chooses to believe that Jianshe is still alive
somewhere and wait for him faithfully in the
village...
