美国现代诗人庞德（Ezra
Pound）一生，与中国文化结下了深深的缘份。他努力学习中文，对孔夫子非常敬仰，说过：一切答案都在四书中（All the
answers are in the four
books），他本人翻译过孔子的经典著作。作为诗人，庞德当然也很关心中国诗歌，他翻译过诗经，也翻译了不少其他诗人的作品。其中就有李白的名篇《长干行》。
