2023年7月28日早上，我们游览完临汾霍州下马窊文昌阁和风水塔后，步行来到了霍州下马窊菩萨庙，到达时间是8：40左右。

菩萨庙位于临汾市霍州辛置镇下马洼窊村中，清代建筑，俗称东庙，创建年代不详。

据菩萨庙内碑文记载，菩萨庙于清乾隆二十九年（1764年）、五十二年（1787年）修葺。

菩萨庙占地面积980平米，坐北朝南，两进院落布局，第二进院落又分上下两院，中轴线上依次为戏台、献殿、正殿、老君殿。东侧有便门、厢房，窑屋，两侧仅存窑屋。正殿为砖砌窑洞，面宽三间，进深一间，平顶，砖殿窑前插廊结构。老君殿面宽三间，进深四椽，单檐硬山顶，梁架五檩无廊式结构。

献殿两山墙上还有黑白绘画，根据献殿梁上重修于“民国癸亥”，应该是在1923年重修献殿，并绘画的。 【临汾】霍州下马窊菩萨庙（县保）
