For several years, a group of caring women from Huaxia Women
Association periodically visit a single, elderly woman named Annie
at her home in La Habra and another cancer survivor named May, who
resides in Fullerton.
Annie, a 95 year old devoted, single Christian lived by herself and until recently due to her failing health hired a caregiver to take care and stay with her.
Annie hopefully declared, “It’s almost thanksgiving, the women from Huaxia Chinese Women’s Association are coming again. They come to visit me whenever I’m sick or on special holidays. They are very beautiful and caring group of women.”
Today, President Laibing Lu, Vice President Diana Chen and Hanna Huang, Secretary May Wang, Li Chun Hong, Amanda and Lisa brought fruits and daily necessities to visit Annie. She was so happy to see everyone, we all hugged and prayed with her, and had a lovely time chatting with her.
