The
Bamboo Lodge --- Wang Wei
Seated alone by shadowy
bamboos,
I strum my lyre and laugh
aloud;
None knows that i am here,
deep in the woods;
Only the bright moon comes
to shine on me.
At A
Bamboos-Lodge
by Wangwei
Alone in the serene bamboos I sit
To play lute, then whistle to croon.
A secluded place, the few'd know it,
Aside from the bright moon.
Alone in the serene bamboos I sit
To play zither, then whistle a bit.
So secluded, the few would know it,
Save the shadows by the moonlit.
I sit alone in many a serene bamboo,
Whistling for a while, then playing zither.
In such a placid place, known to few,
Only the bright moon's shining hither.
In the serene bamboos I sit alone,
Playing lute and whistling carefree.
In the deep woods I am unknown,
The bright moon comes to light me.
【Louisa译文】
Sitting alone in deep bamboos,
Playing a lute and long I sing.
I'm not enjoyed in thick woods,
Shining over is a moon bright.
Sitting in the serene bamboos alone,
I play a tune and whistle for a long time.
No one is to this deep forest prone,
The bright moon shines on the prime.

My Abode in
Bamboos
Wang Wei
Sitting alone in deep bamboos,
Playing a lute and long I cry.
No one knows the thick woods,
Shining over is a moon bright.
Hut Among the Bamboos
Sitting among bamboos alone,
I play my lute and croon
carefree.
In the deep woods where I'm unknown,
Only the bright moon peeps at
me.
