Let me not to the marriage
of true minds
真心的结合不可阻挡
Let me not to the marriage of
true minds
我不认为两颗真心走向婚姻殿堂，
Admit impediments. Love is not
love
能有障碍可以阻挡。那不是爱情——
Which alters when it alteration
finds,
若看到风吹草动，你就改弦更张，
Or bends with the remover to
remove:
或一有变故，你就动摇爱的立场，
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
那绝不是爱情！爱是永恒的航标，
That looks on tempests and is
never shaken;
面临疾风暴雨，毫不动摇的灯塔；
It is the star to every
wandering bark,
爱是北斗，为漂泊孤舟引航指道，
Whose worth's unknown, although
his height be taken.
高度尚可丈量，但价值无法估较。
Love's not Time's fool, though
rosy lips and cheeks
虽然红颜朱唇逃不过时间的残伤，
Within his bending sickle's
compass come:
爱却不是时间可戏弄的水性杨花，
Love alters not with his brief
hours and weeks,
它绝不会只有几日几时的好时光，
But bears it out even to the
edge of doom.
而一定是忠贞不渝，是地老天荒。
If this be
error and upon me proved,
如果有人证明，此番话语完全不实，
I never writ,
nor no man ever loved.
就算我没写诗，真爱不曾存于尘世。
译注：
原诗为典型商籁体结构，五音步抑扬格的格律，韵式为ABAB，CDCD，EFEF，GG。汉译取ABAA，CDCC，ADAA，EE的韵式。

我不承认两个真心相爱的人，要走入婚姻的殿堂
会有什么障碍能阻挡。如果一有风吹草动
你就改弦更张；如果一有变故，
你就不再坚持爱的立场，那就不是真爱。
绝对不是！爱是永恒的灯塔
面临狂风暴雨，也不会有丝毫动摇
爱是北斗，是迷途孤舟的引路航标
虽然高度可以丈量，但价值无法估量
尽管红颜朱唇逃不过时间那把利刃的割伐
爱情却不是任由时间戏耍的傻瓜
它绝不会短命到只有几日几时的光景
而是地久天长，是终生不渝，直到地老天荒
此话如有不实，而且有人能证明我是胡说
那就算我没写过诗，世人也未曾真的爱过
