When the Quanjvana Bodhisattva practices profound
prajnaparamita, he sees the five skandhas as empty, and overcomes
all suffering. Sariputta! Colour is not different from emptiness,
emptiness is not different from colour, colour is emptiness,
emptiness is colour. The same is true of thought-action-knowledge.
Sariputta! All the phenomena are empty.They are not born, they are
not destroyed, they are not polluted, they are not increased or
decreased.Therefore, there is no colour in the air, no
thought-action-knowledge.There is no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body,
mind.There is no colour, sound, smell, taste, touch,
phenomena.There is no boundary of the eye, or even the boundary of
consciousness. There is no ignorance, nor is there any end to
ignorance.There is even no death, nor is there any end to
death.There is no suffering, no destroying path.There is no wisdom,
nor is there any gain.Therefore, there is no gain. The
Bodhisattvas, because of prajnaparamita, have no barriers in
