巧用倍数词表达“……的几倍”

★英文中常见的倍数词有：three times三倍、twice两倍、half一半、one-third三分之一、two-thirds三分之二、three-fourths四分之三、one-fifth五分之一、two-fifths五分之二等等。这些倍数词经常使用在下列结构中以表达“……的几倍”：
1、倍数词 as…as…——是……的几倍
2、more than 倍数词 as…as…——是……的几倍还不止
3、倍数词 the（或所有格∕指示形容词） 名词——是……的几倍
4、more than 倍数词 the（或所有格∕
指示形容词） 名词——是……的几倍还不止
★实战演练：
He is three times as heavy as I.
他的体重是我的三倍。
He is more than three times as heavy as I.
他的体重是我的三倍还不止。
He is three times my weight.
他的体重是我的三倍。
He is more than three times my weight.
他的体重是我的三倍还不止。
He is five times as rich as I.
他的财富是我的五倍。
I am more than three times as old as he.
我的年龄是他的三倍还不止。
This river is ten times the length of that river.
这条河的长度是那条河的十倍长。
The basketball player is more than twice my height.
那个篮球员身高是我的两倍高还不止。
