Three brothers, who worked for the same company , received different wages due to their different attitudes towards their work, which shows right attitude is of great help to one’s life.
Their different attitudes towards their work result in their different wages. From the story I can conclude that those who take positive attitude towards work will be rewarded.
Different attitudes lead to different results. Take Xiao Hua as an example. They are both my classmates. Not only does he put his heart into study but he is also helpful both to teachers and students. So he has become a top student in our class, even in the grade. With his diligence and concentration, he is bound to succeed in entering his ideal university. However, Xiao Li never cares about his study because he is addicted to playing games, he turns a deaf ear to the teachers’ advice. As a result, he falls far behind others in his study.

Apart from my preparations for the test, my solid language skills also led to my new TOEFL success. The story tells us that the grandfather was treated badly by his son and daughter-in-law and the change of the couple’s attitudes after they saw their son was preparing a bowl for them. (33 words)
As for me, I always showed my respect and love to the old. When I was young, I brought my questions to them for help often, which made them busy but happy. I formed a habit to take a walk with them after dinner, talking about my study, ambitions and their rich experience.
In my opinion, we should treat the old people just like what we want to be treated when we are old. It’s fine to fail
Failure is something people always try to avoid, without realizing that by facing it bravely, it’ll turn out to be great value in helping their growth.
It’s natural and normal that parents stop their children from experiencing failure. Anyway, it’s been widely accepted that, by means of appreciation and encouragement, children get inspired and tend to learn more. However, this idea ignores an actual fact that life consists of both success and failure. That’s why I believe that too much protection from failure may end up with more pain – it creates an illusive, or fake, world to kids, not a true one.
The ballet girl gives us a good example of how to face her big failure, from which we see clearly what life is really like: the great amount of time that you’ve devoted to your dream may turn out to be something wrong. The only choice you can make is to smile to it, think of what you can do with it, and decide to still go further or change your way of life. If you face it bravely enough, the failure will lead to “fresh thinking”, and possibly your life will turn on a new page.
Can success bring the same good to us? No. Failure is painful, but it makes us learn more about life. There’s no escape, and there’s no need to escape!

But Chinese students spend so much time on their studies that all else becomes less important until they want that new MP4 player.
So, find a good and healthy balance! If you have a part-time job, you’ll be happy, and your parents will also be happy because you’re spending your hard-earned money and not theirs!

Feng Jicai, born in Tianjin in 1942, is a highly accomplished writer, known for his depictions of intellectuals' lives and the historical stories of Tianjin, where he has been living for more than 40 years. Feng frequently published articles in newspapers, explaining his aims and beliefs to the local residents. He wrote, “Cultural relics are dead, but culture is living in the historical buildings. A city without culture is a city without root.”
In December 1999, Guyi Street, one of the oldest streets in Tianjin, was in the process of being demolished. On this street, built during the Yuan Dynasty, there were many famous shops, such as Qianxiangyi, Ruifuxiang, Shanxi Guild House, and the General Chamber of Commerce of Tianjin. Again, Feng called for volunteers to record the street on videotapes, and collect oral history from local residents. In February 2000, a set of postcards was published with Guyi Street as the theme, attracting long lines of purchasers. With Feng’s efforts, the destruction plan for the street was finally changed, saving some of the buildings there.
Acting on Feng’s proposal, a nationwide heritage rescue program launched a general survey of China's folk cultures in 2003, aiming to catalog village-level art, songs, legends, dress and folk customs before they die off with their practitioners. A wide range of methods were adopted, including text, audio and video recording as well as photography.
Two severe problems in the rescue program were the lack of cultural workers and funds. Feng sold his own paintings twice to raise funds for the foundation to support the investigation of fine arts folk legacies in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. Besides, he also calls for help from NGOs (非政府组织，非营利性组织) everywhere.
Feng was hired as a consultant of the State Council in 2008 for his outstanding contributions to the work of protecting cultural relics.

Failure is something people always try to avoid, without realizing that by facing it bravely, it’ll turn out to be great value in helping their growth.
It’s natural and normal that parents stop their children from experiencing failure. Again, Feng called for volunteers to record the street on videotapes, and collect oral history from local residents. In February 2000, a set of postcards was published with Guyi Street as the theme, attracting long lines of purchasers. With Feng’s efforts, the destruction plan for the street was finally changed, saving some of the buildings there.
Acting on Feng’s proposal, a nationwide heritage rescue program launched a general survey of China's folk cultures in 2003, aiming to catalog village-level art, songs, legends, dress and folk customs before they die off with their practitioners. A wide range of methods were adopted, including text, audio and video recording as well as photography.
Two severe problems in the rescue program were the lack of cultural workers and funds. Feng sold his own paintings twice to raise funds for the foundation to support the investigation of fine arts folk legacies in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. Besides, he also calls for help from NGOs (非政府组织，非营利性组织) everywhere.
Feng was hired as a consultant of the State Council in 2008 for his outstanding contributions to the work of protecting cultural relics.

In my opinion, the reasons for the bad habit of garbage littering lie in two aspects. On one hand, many people are not aware of their misbehaviors and some people even take it as only a “small” thing that others should not make a fuss over. On the other hand, due to the inadequate facilities of garbage collection, people throw away their refuse everywhere at will.
In view of the severity of the issue, we should adopt immediate measures to deal with it. First of all, the government should play a leading role. It ought to bring in strong anti-littering laws, backed by heavy penalties and effective enforcement. Also, officials should make good use of mass media to promote the public’s awareness of environmental protection, making sure that everyone will become a conscious environment protector. Finally, it is essential for schools to attach importance to environmental education, so that every child will become environmentally friendly and get rid of the littering habit.
In conclusion, people’s littering habit is turning our communities into a rubbish holder. It is high time that we took joint effort to solve the rubbish problem. Otherwise, we will live with rubbish in the future.
