联合国儿童基金会(UNICEF)发布2018年版的《食盐加碘项目的监测和人群碘营养水平的判别指南》(Guidance
on the Monitoring of Salt Iodization Programmes and Determination
of Population Iodine Status)。
UNICEF强调普遍食盐加碘(USI)是指所有家庭或加工食品用的食用级别的盐全部加碘(The concept of universal salt iodization entails the iodization of all food-grade salt . i.e. salt used in both households and during food processing)。
UICEF在文件中强调的3个要点,分别是:
(1)学龄儿童的适宜碘营养范围是指受检测儿童的尿碘中位数由原来的100–199 μg/L改为100–299 μg/L。
(2)用尿碘中位数(mUIC)定义群体的碘营养状况。
