单元分析
本单元是新学期开始的第一看单元,也是一个典型的故事教学单元。故事内容取材于学生们非常熟悉的寓言故事《皇帝的新装》。通过讲述这个故事展开话题,并且引出本单元所要解决的一般过去式的重点教学内容。本单元的故事教学,能够极大的吸引学生的学习兴趣,取材巧妙,贴近学生的实际学习情况,语言的交际性和运用性较强,对学生实际语言运用能力有很大的帮助和指导作用。
本单元的重点是要求学生们能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词clever, foolish, laugh, shout magic, through, fit, was, were, visited,
liked, lived, looked, pointed, shouted, showed, walked。能够初步感知一般过去式的用法,灵活运用be动词及规则实意动词的过去式来对过去发生的事情进行阐述。
教学目标
1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词clever, foolish, laugh, shout magic, through, fit, was, were, visited, liked, lived, looked, pointed, shouted, showed, walked

教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会读、会说和会写: king, clothes, was, were, magic, clever, foolish, walk through, people, shout, beautiful, wear, point at, laugh.
2.
能听懂、会读、会说句型: Clever people can see the clothes. Foolish people can’t see them. The king isn’t wearing any clothes.

3. 能初步感知一般过去式的用法及There was/were…的用法。
4.
能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试表演对话。

5. 让学生体验故事表演的快乐,明白为人要诚实,待人要真诚。

1. 能读准新单词,了解词意。

教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk
1. T: Welcome to school. Nice to see you again. We have a happy summer holiday.
2. 从一般现在时引出一般过去时,学生对过去时有初步的了解。
What do you often do on Sundays?
What did you do in the summer holiday?
I watched TV. I watered flowers. I played with my son.
3. 出示一些动词过去式,鼓励学生大胆用一用,说一说
played … walked in the park, went (go) to … ate(eat) …

Step 2 Presentation
1. 了解There was/were…的用法
T: Look around our classroom. What’s in it?
Ss: There is /are …
T: Look at this sitting-room. What’s in it?
Ss: There is /are …
T: 示另一幅图,But long long ago, there was /were …
Ss: 学生跟读was/were
S1: 学生根据图片内容尝试用句型Long long ago, there was /were …表达
2. 出示国王图片,学习clever, foolish, shout
TLong long ago, there was a man. Who is he?
Ss: 学习单词king
T: Now we all know the story’s name is …
Ss: The king’s new clothes.
T: Please think about: Is the king clever or foolish?
Ss: Read and spell the new words.
T: Show the pictures of 《狐假虎威》《龟兔赛跑》《守株待兔》Who is clever? Who is foolish?
S1:故意让一名声音较轻的学生回答,然后让他试着shout 出来。
3 播放视频,指导学生了解课文大意。
Watch the cartoon and pay attention on the intonation.
4. Fast reading. Read the story individually and try to find out:
1) the time: When did the story happen?
2) the main characters: Who are in the story?
5. Learn Paragraph 1.
1) Listen and answer: Why did the two men visit the king? What did they say?
2)Read it together. (pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: liked, visited)
6. Learn Paragraph 2: magic
1)read and complete the following sentence:
According to the two men, the king’s new clothes are .
Because .(learn: magic, clever, foolish)
Listen and repeat.
Try to act the two men.

7. Paragraph 3 and 4: read in pairs/groups and act.
1) The king walked through the city in his new clothes.
Learn: walk through.
2)What did the people say? Try to act and say.
3)What did the boy say? Try to act and say
4)Learn the new words: shout, point at, laugh.
And pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: looked, shouted, pointed, laughed, wear
5)What do you think of the boy and the people in the street? Why?
Step 3 Practice
1. Follow the VCD. Read it together or by individual.
2. Read the new words together.
3. Show the pictures and try to retell the story
4. Finish the exercise on Page 8
5. Check.

Step 4 Consolidation
1. Show Picture 1. Discuss Who are they? What are they talking?
鼓励学生想一想他们会可能说的话,越多越好。
2. Act the story in Picture 1
3. Act the other pictures with the same way.

Step 5 Homework
1. Read the new words and try to spell them.
2. Try to retell the story.

Step1Revision
1. Revise the words and phrases:
clever, foolish, laugh, point at, shout, walk through ,magic,wear .
通过复习上节课内容,复现旧知,帮助学生巩固知识。
2. Revisie the story:
T: Last class we learnt a story about a king and his new clothes. Look at the boy. He pointed at the king and laughed. Why?
S: Because the king wasn’t wearing any clothes.
T: Yes. The king was foolish. Do you like the story? Let’s read the whole story together.
Step 2 Presentation (Grammar time)
1. From the story we know: (fill in the blankets)
a. Long long ago, there was a _________. (king).
b. There were _____________(a lot of people) in the street.
c. One day, two men _______(visited) the king.
d. The king was _______(happy).
e. The king ______(liked) the new clothes.

2. 将上述句子及下列句子分发给每个小组,每组员任选两句有感情的读,互帮互助要读正确。

3. T: From the story we know Long long ago, there was a king. The king liked new clothes. Who can read the words and sentences like this.
教师示范朗读,纠正发音,学生练习读。

4. Underline the words was, were, visited, liked, looked, pointed shouted, laughed.划出句中的动词过去式。

5. 学生组内朗读,互相纠正读音,并将动词过去式发/d/,/t/,/id/归为一类。
6. 小组讨论,如何使用一般过去时。小组代表发言总结。

1)一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。引导学生找出句子中的时间标志语,并板书。 long longago, one day。补充:yesterday, last night, three days ago

2Be动词在一般过去时中的变化:am is在一般过去时中变为was。⑵are在一般过去时中变为were
3)动词过去式变化规则:
  1.一般在动词末尾加-ed,如:point-pointedshout-shouted
2.以不发音的e结尾加-d,如:like-liked live-lived
4) 过去式“-ed”的发音规则
1)动词词尾为“td”时,发/ id /音,
want →wanted
(要)need →needed (需要)
2)动词词尾为清辅音时,发/ t / 音。
help →helped
(帮助)laugh →laughed (笑)look →looked (看)
kiss →kissed (吻)wash →washed (洗) watch →watched (注视)
3)动词词尾为td以外之浊辅音或元音时,发/ d /音。
call →called
(叫)stay→stayed(停留)cry→cried(哭)
7. 呈现紫色部分的动词及其过去式,在组内读一读并互相纠正发音。

1. Work in groups: 读一读,归归类
/t/: watched, picked, liked, hoped, stopped, walked, looked,laughted
/d/:watered, played, stayed, lived, showed
/id/: pointed, shouted, planted, visited, started
2. 师按类领读单词,注意发音

Step 4 Consolidation
1. 通过课文图片的展示,引导学生以King Man1,Man2等的口气进行对话。教师可先与一名学生做示范。
