真题一：
Directions: For this part, you are
allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on how to best handle
the relationship between doctors and patients. You should write
at least 120 words but no more than 180
words.
范文：
On How to Best Handle the Relationship between Doctors and
Patients
（提出问题）The past few years have witnessed a
mounting number of cases resulting from the
conflict between doctors and patients. Taking a
look around, one can find examples too many to
enumerate. In some of the cases, patients or their
relatives even killed the doctor.
（分析问题）A number of factors can account for the
problem, but the leading rea
sons are as follow. In the first place, doctors depend
too much on medicine and examination for income. Therefore, they
often prescribe more than the patient needs. In the second
place, medical resources are not distributed in a balanced way,
with most of them located in major cities and big hospitals.
（解决问题）In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective
measures must be taken before the situation deteriorates. First, it
is imperative that policies and regulations be worked out and
enforced to separate medical service from medicine
and to allocate medical resources in a more reasonable way.
Secondly, both doctors and patients should enhance the
awareness of mutual understanding and mutual respect. With
these measures taken, we have every reason to believe that the
problem will be remedied in the near future.
解析：
这次的四级作文属于“解决问题型”，即给出的话题是需要解决的问题，而且有可能要求写出其原因、影响及解决办法。

enumerate. In some of the cases, the student even
killed the teacher.

In the first place, teachers attach too much importance to
examinations and scores, thus exerting too much pressure on
students. In the second place, the school and parents ignore
the mental health and psychological education of children.

is imperative that policies and regulations be worked out and
enforced to relieve students’ burden and ensure
their mental health. Secondly, both teachers and students

not least, some parents spoil their children, who in turn
disrespect them or depend too much on them.
