食扇贝时,好多时都会问:究竟裙边同橙色部份可不可以吃?


我们不打算直接回答你,用这张图来解释给你听:其实扇贝分为3部份 ──

分别系消化腺、生殖腺同闭壳肌,由于内脏位置容易积聚重金属同麻痺性贝类毒素,所以煮之前记得除去消化腺同生殖腺!

When eating fan-shelled scallops, we always wonder: can we eat the orange-coloured edges?

A direct answer is no fun, how about we explain the facts with the following image? In fact, scallops are made up of three parts: digestive and reproductive glands as well as adductor muscles.

Since heavy minerals and paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins easily accumulate in their organs, it’s better to remove the digestive and reproductive glands and leave only the white muscle before cooking!
