Breakfast at
Tiffany's
moon river , the song I most
favored, came from the touching
movie.
At the very beginning of the movie, when the dawn was
coming, Holly (acted by Audrey Hepburn) got off a taxi and walked
straightly to the Tiffany's. (She looked so graceful and splendid
in a black dre
ss with a fashionable hairstyle!) Holly stood in front of the
showcase, having her breakfast peacefully.
She was so crazy about Tiffany's, for it can
smooth her unidentified mood, somewhat like depressed. As
Holly once said to Paul, her Fred, 'I don't want to own
anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm
not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like
Tiffany's.'
Accidently, Paul, a gentleman, happened in her life.
As a matter of fact, he is a writer being a secret lover of a rich
woman. It should be so disgusting, however, with the scenario went
on, I fell in love with the handsome、frank、optimistic and kind
gentleman.
I was absolutely touched by
the scene that he typed an article accompanied
by the beautiful melody. He typed:' There was once a
very lovely, very frightened girl. She lived alone except for a
nameless cat...' Then he stopped to listen Holly's
singing——

He looked out of the window and say 'Hi'. How
can I expressed my love for his soft、low and deep voice and the
subtle atmosphere between he and
Holly!
Sometimes I think Paul and Holly were similar, both
of they were helpless & hapless, and they even didn't have a
thing to their own name. Fortunenately, they finally met with each
other. What I most appreciated is that what Paul said to the
rich woman —— 'Ridiculously enough, she is a girl can't help anyone
even herself. The thing is, I can help her. It's a nice feeling for
a change.' 'I got chegue my own.' Although Paul was
disgraced before, now he changed to a real man because of
Holly, the one he loved by heart.
Holly just want to flung off the chains of the
past, and to escape from herself. But unfortunenately, she was
stuck by her own and can't find herself. As Paul said to her
: 'You know what's wrong with you, Miss
Whoever-you-are? You're chicken, you've got no guts. You're
afraid to stick out your chin and say, 'Okay, life's a fact, people
do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because
that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness.' You call
yourself a free spirit, a 'wild thing,' and you're terrified
somebody's gonna stick you in a cage.Well baby, you're already in
that cage. You built it yourself. And it's not bounded in the west
by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land. It's wherever you
go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into
yourself. '
Finally with the help of Paul, she found back the
abandoned cat, indicating the returning of her 'wild
spirit'.
Free talking time~
Holly is a pretty and capricious
girl rather than a frivorous woman. And I was
so impressed by the 'New York' day on which they did crazy
things, such as stealing masks and speaking loudly in the
puplic library~ It's so fantacy! It reminded me of Roman
Holiday.
Breakfast at Tiffany's, is such a
touching movie I will love all my life. And I
strongly believe I will be crossing a destined good guy in style
someday...
