Unit 8 集体备课教案
一、本单元的整体说明
Unit 8 的语言功能是如何定餐或叫外卖,主要语言结构是What 引导的特殊疑问句和情态动词would 的用法。本单元的主要话题是学生们非常感兴趣的食物名称,围绕这个话题,可设计如下的任务型活动:
任务一:电话采访
分组让学生开展角色扮演活动,一名学生扮演面馆的策划人员,打电话给顾客,询问他们的日常口味。
任务二:面馆
根据面馆食谱做市场调查,列出一个面馆开业所需的食谱,特别是品种和口味。
任务三:面馆广告
让学生为面馆设计宣传用语,制作海报。
二、单元知识系统
本单元的语言目标为:
1、What size bowl of noodles would you like?
I’d like a large/medium/small bowl of noodles.
2、 What kind of noodles would you like?
I’d like beef and tomato noodles.
3、What’s your address?
My address is … …
三、本单元总体目标
通过本单元的学习,应让学生:
1、学会定餐或叫外卖。
2、学会询问他人的个人信息,如电话、住址等。
3、学会向他人提供自己的个人资料。
4、学会为面条馆和饺子馆写宣传广告。
四、本单元重、难点一览表
五、本单元学情分析:
学生已在七年级英语课本的上册中学会了一些食品的名称和“What kind of …
do you like?”的句式,为本单元的学习打下了良好的基础。语法中的可数名词和不可数名词学生也已在上册的Unit 8中接触过了,因此本单元对于学生来说比较容易掌握。另外,兴趣是学生最好的老师,本单元的话题贴近学生的现实生活,学生在日常生活中喜闻乐见,可以激发起他们的学习热情和兴趣。
六、本单元教学建议
1、词汇的教学:利用实物、图片采用直观教学法教授单词。
2、口语能力的培养:利用采访等同位活动和小组活动来训练学生的口语表达和交际能力。
3、听力的训练:结合课文内容,循序渐进地训练学生的听力。另外,教师在上课时要尽量用英语组织教学活动,让学生在潜移默化中训练听力。
4、阅读能力的培养:利用课本Section B中3a、3b的教学,并要利用好学生手中的阅读材料,训练学生的阅读理解能力。
5、写作能力的培养:通过对Section B 3a的学习和 3b的练习,让学生写一篇面条馆或饺子馆的宣传广告。
6、语法的教学:采用归纳法,让学生自己去归纳总结,找规律,并会运用。

第一课时: Section A (P47— P48)

The First Period
Step 1. Revision.
1. Quiz:
1). How many kinds of food do you know?
2). How many kinds of fruit do you know? Can you tell us?
2.Look at some pictures and revise some words of the fruit and food which have learned before.(tomatoes, strawberries, bananas ,apples, oranges, carrots, ice cream, hamburgers, chicken , eggs , etc .)
通过本环节,让学生复习了前面所学过的单词,起到了承上启下的作用。
3. Free Talk.
1) What’s your favorite food \ fruit?
2) What do you usually have for breakfast \ lunch \ dinner?
学生在回答问题时,肯定有的食物名称说不上来,正好引出本课要学的单词。
Step 2. Presentation
1.Look at the pictures and learn the new words.
noodles, beef , mutton, cabbage, potatoes,
利用图画,采用直观教学法教授单词,学生印象深刻,并可激发起学生的学习兴趣。
2. Look at the picture on the book or on the screen, do Activity 1a by themselves.
3. Look at the picture on the book
1) say: There are three kinds of noodles here. What is Special 1?
2) Teach the new word :
special n. 特色菜
3). Ask a question and let the students discuss their answers.
What kind of noodles do you like best?
4.Listen to the tape , do Act. 1b by themselves.
5. Let the students sum up the key structures in the conversation.
What kind of noodles would you like?
I’d like some beef and tomato noodles.
I’d = I would
通过让学生自己总结,可充分体现学生学习的自主性,并对所学的知识印象深刻。
6. Pair Work:
Practice the conversation below. Then make your own conversations.
7. Say : You would like some noodles. There are 3 sizes of bowls. Which one would you like?
8.Show the students three pictures of bowls.
big, medium , small
使用图片直观地告诉学生这三个单词的意思,一目了然。
9.Look at the picture and listen to the tape, do Act 2a.
10. Listen again, do 2b.
Step 3. Practice
Pair work: Ask your partner:
What kind of noodles would you like?
I'd like...
Use the information from Act. 2a.
Step 4. Grammar Focus
1. would like 可让学生自己做几个例句,看看学生掌握的情况。
What kind of noodles would you like?
I’d like beef noodles.
2. Countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
因为此语法项目在上学期中已接触过,对于学生来说比较容易理解和接受。
3. Complete the conversation.
A: I_____ ____ some noodles.
B: _____ _____ of noodles _____you _____?
A: _____ _____ beef and tomato noodles.
B: Wait a moment, please .
A: Thank you.
4. Fill in the blanks.
1) Would you like some ___ (牛肉)?
2) He doesn’t like ___(土豆)
3) There are many ___ (特色菜) in the Noodle House.
4) He’d like some ___ ____(羊肉面条).
通过以上两个题目的练习,进一步巩固所学的语法项目。
Step 5. Summary.
Answer these questions.
1) How many kinds of meat do we learn in this class?
2) How many kinds of noodles do we learn in this class?
3) What structure do we learn in this section?
用问答的形式对本节课所学内容进行总结,使学生自己对掌握知识的情况有所了解。
Step 6. Homework.
Make a situation conversation.
Suppose you’re in a noodles house. Make a conversation in pairs .One is the waiter(侍者),the other is acustomer(顾客).
