方殷（1913—1982），河北雄县人，原名常钟元，笔名芳茵。中国现当代著名诗人。1935年毕业于北平中国大学。1932年在北平参加左联，开始发表诗作。以后数十年历任《少年先锋》、《诗歌杂志》编辑，南京《金陵日报》特约记者，山西临汾民族革命大学教师，延安鲁艺学员，重庆全民通讯社记者、编辑，重庆市文联编辑，北京人民文学出版社编辑等。方殷反对图解生活，提倡写诗要用意象说话。著有诗集《方殷诗选》等。

After decades served as 'Young Pioneers', 'poetry magazine' editor, Nanjing, 'Jinling Daily' special correspondent, Linfen national revolutionary university teachers, extension Unruh arts student, Chongqing National News Agency reporters, editors, Chongqing City Federation edit, Beijing People Literature Publishing House editing.
