从《圣经》谈汉语“努力”一词

中国字是很有讲究的，是蕴含神造天地以来的智慧。你看“努力”这个词，其中“努”字拆开就是“奴力”，意思是什么呢？顾名思义奴仆用力、奴仆的力气。因此当你仍身为世界的奴隶、罪的奴仆时，你是要汗流满面才可存活的，诚如背道的亚当夏娃。『创世记3章19节』
你必汗流满面才得糊口，直到你归了土，因为你是从土而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归于尘土。With the hard work of your
hands you will get your bread till you go back to the earth from
which you were taken: for dust you are and to the dust you will go
back.『约翰福音8章34节』 耶稣回答说：我实实在在的告诉你们，所有犯罪的，就是罪的奴仆。And this was the
answer Jesus gave them: Truly I say to you, Everyone who does evil
is the servant of sin.『彼得后书2章19节』 他们应许人得以自由，自己却作败坏的奴仆
，因为人被谁制伏就是谁的奴仆 。Saying that they will be free, while they
themselves are the servants of destruction; because whatever gets
the better of a man makes a servant of him.
再看不再是奴仆，而是儿子和兄弟的时候境况如何呢？
『约翰福音8章35节』 奴仆不能永远住在家里；儿子是永远住在家里。
Now the servant does not go on living in the house for ever, but
the son does.
『加拉太书4章7节』 可见，从此以后，你不是奴仆 ，乃是儿子了，既是儿子，就靠着神为后嗣。
So that you are no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, then
the heritage of God is yours.
『腓利门书1章16节』 不
再是奴仆，乃是高过奴仆，是亲爱的兄弟，在我实在是如此，何况在你呢？No longer as a servant, but more
than a servant, a brother, very dear to me specially, but much more
to you, in the flesh as well as in the Lord.
因此耶稣基督告诫我们：
『哥林多前书7章23节』 你们是重价买来的，不要作人的奴仆 。
It is the Lord who has made payment for you: be not servants of
men.
『加拉太书5章1节』 基督释放了我们，叫我们得以自由，所以要站立得稳，不要再被奴仆的轭挟制。Christ has truly made
us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on
you again.
『罗马书6章17-22节』 感谢神，因为你们从前虽然作罪的奴仆，现今却从心里顺服了所传给你们道理的模范。But praise be
to God that though you were the servants of sin, you have now given
yourselves freely to that form of teaching under which you were
placed;
你们既从罪里得了释放，就作了义的奴仆 。
And being made free from sin you have been made the servants of
righteousness.
我因你们肉体的软弱，就照人的常话对你们说：你们从前怎样将肢体献给不洁不法作
奴仆，以至于不法，现今也要照样将肢体献给义作奴仆，以至于成圣。
I am using words in the way of men, because your flesh is feeble:
as you gave your bodies as servants to what is unclean, and to evil
to do evil, so now give them as servants to righteousness to do
what is holy.
因为你们作罪之奴仆的时候，就不被义约束了。
When you were servants of sin you were free from
righteousness.
但现今你们既从罪里得了释放，作了神的奴仆，就有成圣的果子，那结局就是永生。But now, being free from sin,
and having been made servants to God, you have your fruit in that
which is holy, and the end is eternal life.
因此，当你为世界所辖制，为情欲所奴役，为原罪所羁绊，你就是罪的奴仆，那时你所做的努力尽都是追求自我中的劳苦，是追求自我满足中的陶醉，还没等你实现自我，满身的疲累、伤痕、不甘、愤恨和无奈却早已将你牢牢捆锁，你被自我羁绊又不能结束被它奴役和束缚，连肉身的快感和情欲的满足也再难让你感到快乐兴奋，于是你转而采用非分的方式……
而终于，你倚靠了耶稣基督，成为了义的奴仆、神的奴仆，然而胜过试炼的甚至不再是奴仆而是儿子是兄弟是神的家人，有了永远而彻底的自由，脱离罪的真实自由！因此不再是努力而是愿意，不再是责任而是出于爱，不再也无须努力，因为是父在你们里面做他自己的事，使我们成为“贵重的器皿”、“祝福的管道”，肉身不再成为卑贱乃是“神的殿”了！『哥林多前书3章16节』
岂不知你们是神的殿，神的灵住在你们里头吗？
