depend on/rely on/count on辨析
在区分一些近义词的时候最好看英文的解释，这样才能区分它们细微和区别或是可以通用。
一、相同
当这些词都为“依靠，依赖”的意思时：
depend on：to need someone a great deal for help or support.
如:His family depend on him.
rely on:to depend on someone or something.
如：They rely on the river for water.他们用水要依靠这条河。
count on:to depend on someone or something.
如：You can count on my help.你可以依赖我的帮助。
所以通过上面分析及例句可以看出，当他们表示“依靠、依赖”含义时，基本一样的。
二、不同
当表示“由……决定”这个含义时，用depend on。如：
Whether we will go there or not depends on the weather.我们是否去那，要看天气情况。（即由天气决定）
再例如：
---Shall we go there for a holiday? 我们去那里度假吗？
---It depends.
