Teaching ideology
According to the new English curriculum, students are put at the
centre of the curriculum and are supposed to be all-round
developed. Each student must be allowed to develop individually and
comprehensively under the guidance of the teacher and the help of
modern teaching technology. Audio-visual method, cooperative and
autonomous learning are applied to help them master a certain level
of language knowledge and the ability to use language. And their
comprehensive language competence should be developed by

The analysis of teaching material
The reading material is from PEP NSEFC Module3. It focuses on the
usage of the conjunctions, especially appositive clause. The noun
clause is very important in the study of English during the senior
school and must be mastered by all means.
The analysis of learning condition
As senior high school students, they are have mastered some certain
knowledge of English and known some festivals around the world in
high school, so their previous knowledge will help them to
understand the grammar easily. But they may have some difficulties
in understanding the difference between the appositive clause and
attributive clause.
