respect&aspect作为“方面”讲时的区别整理

名词aspect和respect在词典中分别具有几个义项:aspect的主要词义包括“模样”、“方向”、“方面”、“形势”、“外貌”“样子”、“神态”、“(建筑物等的)方向，方位”、“(建筑物等)朝某方向的一面”“(语法的)体”;respect的主要词义是“尊敬”、“注意”、“方面”。在汉语中aspect和respect均可以作“方面”解,但是二者的用法是有差异的，respect比aspect更具体,在某些小方面上常用respect。
1、aspect 是指'事态、 想法 、计划“等的某个方面
如： the training program covers every aspect of the job.训练计划的范围包括了这个工作的各各方面
We love the valley in all its aspects.我们爱这山谷的一切.
Climate and weather affect every aspect of our lives.
气候和天气影响我们生活的每个方面。
He was interested in all aspects of the work here.
他对这里工作的各方面都感兴趣。
The house had a southwest aspect.
这房子为西南朝向。
2、repect 是指某一'细节'的方面
如: in many respects pf the new version is less good than the old one.从许多方面来看 新的版本并不比旧的强.
