走过大半个世纪，暮然回首
依然，站在原来的高度
下面一览无余的炊烟，空蒙的深处
传来几朵鸡鸣，消隐在天边
风吹稻浪，连着青纱帐
坡上，
柞蚕咀嚼着阔叶

走过大半个世纪，暮然回首
依然，站在原来的高度
下面一览无余的炊烟，空蒙的深处
传来几朵鸡鸣，消隐在天边
风吹稻浪，连着青纱帐
坡上，
柞蚕咀嚼着阔叶
一辆辆挖掘机，正在村头突突突地挖沟
宁静，被撕开一道道口子
白云给伤痕缠上绷带
村庄，
正洇出残阳如血
我长久伫立，在一棵橡树下
风，过早地把绿叶吹落一地
一座干净的小旅馆，我没有进去
又一簇，一丛
黄牛尾，马齿苋，驴皮口，狗尾巴草
我只打了个停，还是走了
向鱼问水
晌午时分，日头把我缩成一个点
这使我失去了步调一致的旅伴
我依然踩着刀尖在走
我的生活在别处，我不能有须臾的怠慢
走，
我生存的全部意义
在城乡交界处，我已燃烧到了极点
一条小河，正哗啦啦地流向远方
我向鱼借水
鱼说：
哪里还有可饮之水，我正在修炼成鸟

I've lived
That I’m still standing at the initial
A sweeping view is the kitchen smoke below and in the deep foggy mist
A few blooming crows of roosters are heard, fading away on the horizon
Wind stirs up waves in paddy field attached to the green curtain of tall crops
On slopes
Tussah is chewing the broad-leaves
Throngs of excavators are loudly digging trenches at the end of the village
Serenity is being torn off again and again
White clouds have bandaged the wounds
Blood-like sunset
Is seeping through the villages
I’m standing for a long time under an oak tree
Wind has prematurely blown the leaves
I ask the fish about the water
And at noon the sun has shrunk me into a dot
Causing me to lose travel mates in step with
I’m still walking
A clean and small inn that I wouldn’t go in
One cluster after another of
Ox-tail, purslane, donkey skin mouth and the dog's tail grass
I just call for a pause and then hit the road again
I'm living elsewhere, but I cannot have an instant of neglect
Go
That is all my life about
At the junction of urban and rural areas, my burning has reached the apex
A tiny river is rustling to run toward the distance
I turn to the fish for the water
Fish says:
Nowhere there is drinkable water and I’m practicing to become a bird
