[转载]曼德拉总统就任演讲时的一段话。出自美国作家玛丽安娜·威廉森的《发现真爱》

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
　　Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
　　It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
　　Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't insecure around you.
　　We were all meant to shine, as children do. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone.
　　And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others.
我们最恐惧的并非我们自己的无能为力
我们最恐惧的其实是我们自己強大而无法测量的力量。
　最使我们惊惧的并非我们的黑暗面，而是我们所能展现的光明。随波逐流者一世徒劳。没有努力就不会有成就，你身边的人应该为你自豪。
　　我们都该像孩子一样的前途无量。这种天分并不只限于对特定的人，而是存在于每一个人身上。
当我们努力的发挥出了自己潜能，我们身边的人也会随之效仿。
当我们让自己从恐惧中解脱，我们的行为也会让他人得到释放。
