李觉民简介
李觉民,1958年出生于中国贵州安顺市一书香世家,自幼习文爱武。9岁拜河北沧州人张剑英学习八极劈挂技击,1975年任贵州湄潭县一中专职武术教师。1978年率队参加遵义地区少年武术赛获数个组别冠军。同年地区组队任教练和贵州省裁判员。拜西南名师顾锦章学习拳击,查派拳械。1980年拜中国著名武术家沙国政学习八卦,形意,通臂散手。1988年考入河南大学少林武术学院大专班,专攻陈氏太极拳学。启蒙与连续三年七十公斤级全国推手冠军陈有则,受业于名家陈小旺,深造于有“太极状元”美誉的大师马虹,1990年毕业后随学院迁往少林寺工作至
1995年,返筑后在贵州师范大学体育学院进修获本科学历,1997年调任贵阳市公安局警察学校武术教官,具有大学教师资格,曾任贵州亚太职业学院体育教研室主任。现在以研究传播陈氏太极拳学,形意拳学,八卦掌拳学为工作,在几十年的武学研习中,遵循“艺不宗一,转益众师”,广涉众家传统文化与现代学科,拳理与拳技结合实践,持之以恒的学习原则,参加国际太极拳大赛取得优异成绩,出版《太极拳的最高境界》,《沙式形意八卦连环掌》,《传统陈氏太极拳VCD教学片》三部专著。在世界权威性的“中华武术”,“武魂”刊物发表《论太极拳的练习状态》《文化素养是太极拳的基础》《论太极拳上品拳法的取法捷径》《论太极拳的劲和势》《太极拳众多养生术的最佳选择》等数十篇论文,因理论建树和赛绩入编《中国太极拳优秀人才库》《当代中国传统武术名人名家辞典》。现任贵州省武术协会副主席,贵州觉民陈氏太极拳俱乐部理事长。
Juemin
Li, born in 1958 in a literary family of Anshun, Guizhou,
China, has been fond of Kungfu since he was a child.
Li acknowledged Jianying Zhang who comes from Cangzhou,
Hebei as his master to learn martial arts of Ocotopole Pigua at the
age of 9. He served as a full-time martial arts teacher at
Meitan No.1 high school in1975. Li led his team to
participate in Zunyi Junior Wushu Tournament in 1978 and won the
first in several groups. In the same year Li served as a
coach of the regional team and a referee in Guizhou
Province. Then he acknowledged Jinzhang Gu, a famous martial
artist in Southwest China, as his master to learn boxing. In 1980,
Li studied the Eight Diagrams, hsing i kungfu and free hand
operations from Guozheng
Sha, the well-known Chinese martial artist. In 1988 Li was admitted
to the junior college of School of Shaolin Wushu, Henan University,
specializing in Chen Tai Chi. Enlightened by Youze Chen who was the
national champion of 70-kilogram-class hand slap competition
for three consecutive years, learning from the celebrity
Xiaowang Chen, and further trained by Hong Ma who had
the reputation of 'Tai Chi champion”, Li moved to Shaolin Temple
with his school after graduation in 1990 and worked for five years
before he returned to Guiyang. Later, Li received
undergraduate education at Physical Culture Institute, Guizhou
Normal University in 1997 and was transferred to the police academy
of Guiyang Public Security Bureau as a martial arts instructor. Li
had university teacher qualifications and was a former
Director of Teaching and Research Section of Guizhou Asia-Pacific
Vocational College. Now he works on the study and dissemination of
the science of Chen Tai Chi, hsing i kungfu and Eight Trigram Palm.
During several decades' study on Kungfu, Li follows the principle
of 'Arts will be of great benefits if we
gather knowledge from around the world'. Moreover, Li absorbs a
wide range of traditional culture and modern disciplines, combines
fistic feats with practice, and studies perseveringly. As a result,
Li has achieved outstanding results in Tai Chi
competitions at home and abroad. He published three
monographs--The Highest State of Taijiquan, Sha-style Hsing I Eight Trigram Serial
Palm, and
Instruction Films of Traditional Chen-style
Taijiquan.
Li also published many
papers including On the Exercise State of Tai Chi, Cultural
Attainments is the Basis of Taijiquan, On the Shortcut of Gaining
Superior Taijiquan, On the Strength and
Potential, and Taijiquan is the Best Choice of Many
Regimens on
the authoritative journals Chinese Martial Arts and Wu Hun. Because of Li's theoretical contribution and
competing performance, his name was filed in the
Chinese Shadow Boxing
Talent Bank and the Dictionary of Traditional Martial Arts Masters of
Contemporary China. Currently
Juemin Li is the Vice Chairman of Guizhou Wushu Association and
the Chairman of Guizhou Juemin Taijiquan
Club.
