《丑奴儿》 辛弃疾
少年不识愁滋味， 爱上层楼。 爱上层楼， 为赋新词强说愁。
而今识尽愁滋味， 欲说还休。 欲说还休， 却道天凉好个秋。

In my young days, I had tasted only gladness.
But loved to mount the top floor.

And now I`ve tasted sorrow`s flavors, bitter and sour.

When I was young, to sorrow yet a stranger, I loved to go up the tallest towers, the tallest towers, to compose vapid verses simulating sorrows.

Now that I am to sorrow fallen prey, what ails me I`d rather not tell, rather not tell, only saying: It`s nice and cool and the autumn tints are mellow.
