I just watched a video about a product. I saw the journalist interview several professors who are professionals in numerous different fields. They all presented themselves as calm, clear, well-known, and passionate about their topics. It impressed me, and I want to be a part of them, who have an understanding of the world. The topics were about society and economy. They do research, collect information, facts, and numbers. They experience this world using their eyes, mind, and skin, and turn this information into their own knowledge. Then they use this knowledge to solve existing problems in this world, as well as new problems they have never encountered before or new people they meet. This enlightens me. I am a doctor, and I need to collect as much information about diseases as possible, from books, literature, and from the patients I meet.
