ACEMOGLU,1967年生,土耳其和美国双重国籍,英国约克大学学士,英国伦敦经济学院经济学博士(1992)。1992-93年在伦敦经济学院担任讲师,1993年MIT经济系挖来当助理教授,并任教至今:1997年晋升为副教授,2000年晋升为正教授,2004年晋升为讲座教授(Charles
P. Kindleberger Professor of Applied
Economics),2010年晋升为另一个讲座教授(Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of
Economics)。
