Frederic S.
Mishkin，1949年生，美国人，1973年获得MIT经济学学士，毕业时获得Phi Beta
Kappa荣誉称号。期间1971-72年他在牛津大学Balliol
College学习经济学，1976年他获得MIT经济学博士。
1976-83年他在芝加哥大学任教：1976-81年为助理教授，1981-83年为副教授。1983年至今他一直在哥伦比亚大学商学院任教：1983-91年为正教授，1991-99年为经济学讲座教授（A.
Barton Hepburn Professor of Economics），1999年至今他是银行和金融组织讲座教授（Alfred
