A Let’s learn
一、教学目标:  
1、知识目标:  
1)、能够听、说、读、写单词:season spring summer
FONT> winter。  
2)、能够使用句型 “What’s your favorite season?” 提问,并能根据实际情况回答。  
2、能力目标:  
1)、能够看懂指示语,并按照指令完成 Let’s find out 中的简单任务。  
2)、能够听懂,说唱 Let’s chant 部分的歌谣。  
3、情感目标:让学生有兴趣用英语表达,能够积极参与课堂活动。  
4、创新目标:小组合作,灵活扩展,自编对话。  
二、教学重点
1、够听说读写spring, summer, fall, winter, season 等单词
2、能够听说认读句子Whats your favorite season?并能在实际情景中进行运用。
三、教学难点
1 spring 的发音。
2、使学生能在真实的语境中熟练运用'Whats your favorite season?
四、教具准备:  
Teaching pictures, radio and tape, some seasons' pictures, CAI etc
五、教学步骤:
Step 1 Warm-up
1Greetings.
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? 
Ss: Fine, thank you.
( 2 ) Free talk 
播放四年级下册第四单元的歌谣,复习形容天气的单词:warm cool cold
T: What day is it today? What's the weather like today?   
Ss: It’s warm\cool \ hot \…
T: What’s your favorite fruit\food?
Ss: My favorite fruit\food…
3出示课题 TWhats your favorite season? 引出课题My favorite season(注意强调favorite的发音)
Step 2 Presentation
Let’s learn
1TWe know there are four seasons in a year . Whats your favorite season?
让学生猜出season的汉语意思,并尝试发音[si:], [zn][’si:zn]
单词卡片 season(并板书课题)
2Teach new word: spring
T: Yes. Now let’s play a guessing game.
The weather is always warm in that season. What season is it?
T: (板书spring,引导学生拼读单词spring,并且让学生感知英语表达It’s warm in spring.)
Yes! It’s spring. It’s warm in spring.
3 People like to eat ice-cream in that season. What is it?
(在此,老师沿用了根据天气猜季节的方法,教学夏天的英文单词:summer,接着板书。并引导学生主动说出:It’s hot in summer.)
4Look! Now its cool. The leaves fall down. Which season is it now?
Oh, its fall now. 引出:fall
教师出示单词卡片 all fall,鼓励学生自己读出来,并且 make new words。如 wall, balltall
5Now, its snowing .The weather is very cold. Which season is it? 引出:Winter.
6Spelling game. s-p-r-i-n-g, spring; s-u-m-m-e-r, summer; f-a-l-l, fall; w-i-n-t-e-r, winter; s-e-a-s-o-n, season
7、提问学生Whats your favorite season?引导学生回答Spring/summer/fall/winter.
8、让学生两人一组对话。What's your favorite season? Winter/Fall/Spring/Summer.
9Chain game进行接龙训练。
A: Favorite, favorite Whats your favorite season?
B: Springspringspring My favorite season is spring

Draw a tree and talk about the seasons!
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
1Handwriting:在四线格内规范书写单词4遍,教师下去个别查看,做巩固书写练习。
2 Listen and fulfill the chant.

________ is hot and the days are long.
________ is golden and farmers are busy.
________ is white and the year is gone.
3Play games.
